Thomas B. Birch, CCIM

Thomas Birch has been active in the commercial real estate business in Southwest Florida for over 42 years as a broker, investor, and investment advisor. This has included a concentration in sales, leasing, development, and asset management services. Areas of specialization are office, retail and industrial buildings including property that is approaching development stage. Mr. Birch was born in Fort Myers, FL and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida (1978) with a major in real estate and minor in accounting. Mr. Birch obtained a real estate license at 18 years of age and worked part time in real estate and construction during the summers. After graduating from the University of Florida, Mr. Birch began his career with Kinsey Associates Commercial Realtors, while working towards his CCIM designation (Certified Commercial Investment Member) which he obtained in 1985. The CCIM designation is considered the commercial real estate global standard for professional achievement. Mr. Birch started Birch Properties Florida in 1987.
